Gosnold Rd.

We were hired to install very elaborate, elegant and challenging interior trim in this new construction project.

The result is a beautiful home with immaculate chair rails, spectacular coiffed ceilings and all around unparalleled level of detail.

N. Liberty St.

Major renovation that involved, amongst other things, lifting the whole house and replacing the damaged floor support system with over 100 year old beams from another vintage building.
The original flooring was then re-installed in order to more accurately preserve the historic value of the home.

Baxter Rd.

After we pieced and moved the existing house 100 feet back from the edge of the eroding bluff we then proceeded to assemble the home using an estimated 80 percent of salvaged materials from the original home only incorporating new construction materials as sparingly as needed.
The result is a home with modern amenities and comfort while at the same time maintaining the unique character of the original home. This home stands out for both the high level of sustainable building achieved, and for its interesting design features, making it one of the most original homes on the island.

India St.

We tackled two similar renovation projects in the historical India St in the center of town. We were present in all stages of the projects from the necessary demolition and framing, to installing the interior trim and kitchen.
All steps were taken to preserve the historic integrity of the homes. For instance we used some of the original sheading of the house to create raised panels that perfectly blended with the home’s existing ones.

Main St.

A particularly challenging and rewarding project, partly due to the fact, that the home had been abandoned for about 20 years.
We were present on all stages of this project from demolition and framing, to interior finish.

The result is a spectacular home brought back from the brink of ruin to become one of the highlights of Nantucket’s main street.
